Job Description:
- Experience must include work with the following technologies
- NMS Software development using Java Object-Oriented Programming and Design (OOP/OOD); on multiple platforms like Solaris, Unix/Linux
- Worked on web technologies (JSP/Servlet, Tomcat/Jetty)
- Web GUI development using JQuery, AJAX, HTML5, CSS3.0.
- Working with Network Equipment using SNMP (SNMPv2/SNMPv3). Better to have working knowledge of SNMP4J.
- Working knowledge of Spring(DI, AOP & MVC), Hibernate.
- Knowledge of RESTful web services, Quartz APIs.
- Experience in messaging framework e.g. ActiveMQ/JMS.
- Expertise in designing large scale systems
Other Desirable Experience:
- Working on components of Framework dealing with large infrastructure with multiple threads and throttling the load to handle burst of activity is desirable
- Experience with Database in the context of an NMS is desirable preferably postgres, RRD, MongoDb.
- Knowledge of Networking Protocols, Layer 2 and Layer 3 concepts like Interfaces, Bridges, ARP, STP, Routing etc. is a plus
- Working knowledge of Linux.
